You can’t credit some people
There are very few houses surrounding our church which do not have gardens. And the home owners would be upset if our church family decided to ‘invade’ their gardens to sit on their door step or play ball games or spray paint walls or dump litter. Why then do the same people believe that they or their off-spring can ‘invade’ our gardens to sit on our door steps, play ball games, spray paint and dump their litter?
You can’t credit this: one adult justified the abuse of our gardens because that person understood the gardens to be a public place like the park just up the road. That individual could see nothing wrong in ‘invading’ our gardens. Most certainly that person would be upset if our church family ‘invaded’ their property! Where was the adult coming from? You will have your own answer to that question.
Below are the photographs recording the recent spate of pure vandalism. Sadly, the vandals vandalised without anyone seeing their vandalism.
Hard one this, and our neighbours are reluctant to do this because of possible repercussions: if you see our gardens being ‘invaded’ then immediately report the incident to the police.
