children and young people – Sunday school & ‘Scouts’ – and parents and friends led by our very good friend Ernest WRENNALL
Gifts should be non-perishables which we can pass to our Church supported charity:
Feed the Children (see below).
And, just as a reminder as to what you might want to donate here is a list to help your generous giving.
- FOOD which need to be easy to pack, transport, store and have at least four months shelf life: (In Cans) Fish, tomatoes, vegetables, fruit; (Dry Food) Pasta (not canned), rice, fruit, flour, sugar, salt, tea, coffee, biscuits (not chocolate). NO meat or milk products
- FEEDING MINDS: Education packs, exercise nooks or note books, pens and pencils, colouring pencils or wax crayons, rulers, erasers, pencil sharpeners and chalk.
- FOR BABIES & TODDLERS: Blankets or shawls; towelling or muslin; nappies and pins; disposable nappies; petroleum jelly; baby soap; shampoo. Jumpers, cardigans, hats, gloves, blankets.
- FOR MOTHERS: Soap, shampoo, flannel, towels, tooth brushes and tooth paste, toilet rolls, hairbrushes, combs, washing soap and power.
- OTHER ITEMS: Blankets, sheets, sleeping bags, towels, curtains, candles, hats, gloves, socks, underwear, washing up bowls, buckets, colouring books, felt pens, paper, art materials, school bags, fabric, thread, zips, needles, footballs, tennis balls.
