ASDA in Fleetwood has launched a scheme by which members of the public can help some of our community charities, one of which is the Foodbank. The way the scheme works is that customers will be given a token when they pay at the check-out. They are then free to place it in one of the three charity boxes of their choice. After a fortnight, the box with the most tokens in will get £200 from ASDA, while the other two will each get £50. In addition, ASDA has kindly agreed to put out a trolley with our SVP Foodbank logo on it, so that customers can donate tins for the Fleetwood Foodbank. As far as it is known, this Foodbank trolley will be ongoing. The Foodbank is very grateful to ASDA for their kindness.
