HOW TO FIND US

HOW TO FIND US DIRECTIONS

WHEN IN THE TOWN

W1:       The church is on Agnew Road and the hall on Dronsfield Road. Both roads are at the

midpoint of Poulton Road and the church is signposted. Poulton Road runs from Poulton Street in the east to Beach Road/Queens Hotel in the west.  (There is a very adjacent and very frequent bus service – all but the No 1 – along Poulton Road. The nearest bus stop is known as Agnew Road.)

W2:      Visitors walking or driving along the promenade can find Agnew Road and Dronsfield Road

at the junction of the Boating Lake (with its island) and the (18-hole) Pitch and Putt course and the church is signposted. (There is a very infrequent bus service along the promenade.)

NOTE IF ALL THE ABOVE AND THE FOLLOWING STILL MEANS YOU ARE LOST

L1:        Fleetwood is on a peninsular, It has an outer circle of two roads, the A585 (from Preston) and A587 (from Blackpool). The A587 extends along Beach Road

to run along the promenade and join the A585. See W2 above.

IF YOU ARE TRAVELLING BY TRAIN

The nearest railway stations are Poulton-le-Fylde (not all trains stop there)

and Blackpool NORTH.

R1:        If you alight at Poulton-le-Fylde there is an infrequent bus service stop outside the

station. Or, turn left and a short walk to St Chad’s parish church for a (slightly more frequent) bus service. (Both buses take you on a ‘Cook’s Tour’ to get to Fleetwood. ) Book to Agnew Road, Fleetwood.

R2:        If you alight at Blackpool North then there is a not too convenient walk: go through the

underpass and left up the slope/stairs. turn right onto Talbot Road, straight across the pelican crossings, then a short walk to the very frequent No 14 (Fleetwood Ferry) bus stop. Book to Agnew Road for around a 40 minutes journey time.

IF YOU ARE TRAVELLING BY TRAM

T1:        The nearest tram stops for the church are a brisk 15 minutes walk from the church. It is

therefore recommended that if you travel by tram you book to the Broadwater interchange and catch the No 14 bus to Agnew Road.
